The Greater Detroit Area Health Council (GDAHC)is a multi-stakeholder regional coalition. We address issues of health care quality, access and cost in southeastern Michigan. We achieve our mission through partnership and collaboration with an end goal of influencing community health status.

• Save Lives/Save Dollars (TM) Is a multi-year initiative of coordinated, immediate and long-term actions to drive quality improvement (save lives) and drive cost reductions (save dollars) in southeastern Michigan . |
• Community Health Community-based programs and partnerships influence the improvement in community health status. |
• Purchasing Programs GDAHC facilitates a group purchasing program for dental, vision and pharmacy healthcare coverage. |
• Planning & Quality Activities focus on health care planning, evidence based medicine, quality initiatives and other health planning initiatives to influence health care delivery in southeastern Michigan(SEM). |
• Education Get connected by attending GDAHC educational and special events to build relationships with business and community leaders, share knowledge and engage in important dialogue about healthcare issues. |
• Publications Get up-to-date information and data on health care in southeast Michigan and documents facts and statistics about health, health behaviors,access, and the use, quality, cost and capacity of health care services. |
